API Intro Integrations<\/h2><\/span>

During a Seo project, it is useful to be able to have a total view of the data we can collect to develop a comprehensive analysis.<\/p>\n

Screaming Frog gives the ability to integrate data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Majestic, Page Speed Insights, Moz and Ahrefs with data from crawling.<\/p>\n

The integration allows us to download via API the data from each individual url that we want to integrate to our analysis.<\/p>\n

It is necessary to configure the integration before starting the scan. Let’s see how.<\/p>\n

  1. From the top horizontal menu click on ” Configuration.” This opens a drop-down menu where we have to click on ” API Access” and then on the extension we want to integrate, for example ” Google Search Console”<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>

    2. Then Screaming Frog opens a screen to select the account to be linked.<\/p>\n

    It is also possible to identify a date range by selecting the start do end date of the time frame we are interested in.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    It is possible to filter data by device ( Desktop , Mobile and Tablet) by country, by filter type (in this case we have selected Google Search Console as the API, we can then choose from filters in Google Search Console such as Discover, Google News, Image, News,Video; Web) and by search query filter ( such as “contains” , “does not contain” etc.). There is also an additional “General” section where we can choose whether to match URLs with or without a trailing slash, uppercase and lowercase, upper limit of results, and the ability to scan new URLs found in Google Search Console.<\/p>\n

    We will be able to verify the correctness of the association by noting the 100 percent API loading in the bar next to the scan bar in the upper left corner.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    When the scan is finished, for each url we will also have information about Click Impressions CTR and Average Position from Google Search
