TAB CUSTOM SEARCH – EXTRACTION

Analysis for custom searches and custom scraping.

Custom Search

The custom search tab allows you to check for the presence or absence of certain elements in the source code of HTML pages.

Config > Custom > Search

To handle searches you can apply up to 100 filters using RegEX rules and get a Boolean result with pages that “contain” or “do not contain” the chosen input.

Your search results will contain the following data:

  • Address: identifies the address of the scanned subdomain;
  • Content: the type of content detected in the considered Url;
  • Status Code: the status code of the resource.
  • Status: the response code of the HTTP header.
  • Contains: [x]: the number of occurrences [x] in each URL where the input used in the search phase was found.
  • Does Not Contain [y]: identifies whether or not the searched input was found during the “custom search.”

The filter section of the tab shows the name chosen for each individual “Custom Search.”

Custom Extraction

Through this function you are able to configure up to 100 “Custom Extraction” through XPath, CSSPath or RegEX. Extraction is performed only on URLs with HTML content.

Results will be shown following these dimensions:

  • Address: identifies the address of the scanned subdomain.
  • Content: the type of content detected in the considered Url.
  • Status Code: the status code of the resource.
  • Status: the response code of the HTTP header.
